Meet Schultzie! He is a stunning 2 year old bi-colored German Sherpherd. 100% love bug, ready to go hiking or just cuddle with you. He knows basic commands and is not food aggressive. He loves other dogs and will even share his toys with them. Although a little shy first, he is wonderful with people as well. Schultzie walks great on leash, enjoys his rides in the car and loves running his little heart out in the open fields. He is neutered, is up to date on his shots and is microchipped. He prefers a home where he is not left alone much. When he is home with no humans, he does well inside with his furry foster sibling. He has even tested well with cats! Leo is an affectionate & playful 3-year old German Shepherd-Husky mix with the most adorable and handsome face. He is smart, well-trained, and eager to please. After spending 4 weeks in training, he has mastered several commands, including extended sit, down, heel, come, and waiting patiently for his meals. He's a very quick learner who thrives on structure and routine. Leo is great in the car and loves going for walks and spending time in public. He is great with dogs of all sizes but does not do well with cats. He has so much love to give and we're confident he'll bring joy to the right person or family. Riley is a wonderful 11-year-old German Shepherd mix. She’s easygoing, affectionate, and obedient. Riley loves walks, car rides, and the park. She’s friendly and calm with kids and small dogs, and she rarely barks. Don't let her age fool you, she still has plenty of energy and love to give. Stella is a sweet, intelligent, and affectionate 2.5-year-old spayed German Shepherd looking for her forever home. Originally rescued from a neglectful situation, she has blossomed into a well-mannered and loyal companion with a loving spirit and a great personality. She’s completed a 40-lesson professional obedience program and responds well to commands. Her trainer offers free lifetime follow-up lessons to her future family. Stella has also shown promise on the agility course and enjoys staying active. At the dog park, she’s always friendly and playful with other dogs. If another dog shows signs of aggression, she runs back to her person. She is obedience trained on and off leash, though she may get a little enthusiastic when something exciting catches her eye. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She will be fostered until her forever home is found. She’s a loyal, well-trained dog ready to bond with her next family. Crouton is an amazing (approximately) 18 month old German Shepherd mix. He would love to become a member of an active, fun family. He is very smart and LOVES to train. He is highly food motivated and has a moderate toy drive. He is very handler focused and biddable. He has learned several things since coming into rescue and knows about 20 different commands. Crouton is confident in new situations and has great manners. He is very friendly with other dogs once introduced, and is working on his leash manners so he doesn't get overly excited when seeing other dogs. He has been introduced briefly to some agility equipment and did great. No cats for him please. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm and fecal negative, and up to date on preventatives. There is an adoption fee for Crouton. Bodie boy is an incredibly sweet 11-12 month old Shepherd mix. He LOVES to snuggle and endlessly enjoys belly rubs. He is even-tempered and very adaptable, a quick learner, and devoted companion. This handsome guy wants nothing more than to spend his days as your shadow and sidekick. He is kind and gentle with kids and quickly learned the difference between his toys and kids’ toys. In training, he is more praise-driven and has truly enjoyed learning different commands and tricks (sit, down, stay, heal, come, shake, spin, etc.). He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. Bodie has not been cat tested but has shown great care and restraint with a bearded dragon lizard. We have been amazed at his respect for established boundaries and rules. He's very good on a leash but is currently working on his leash manners when encountering other dogs on walks. He’s made great progress in this area but will need continued training. This sweet and goofy pup loves quietly looking out the window at the neighborhood goings-on and is always ready to engage and play with his humans. If you are looking for a forever best friend who will greet you in the morning with the most adorably endearing kisses and are ready to give this angel the connection and affection he deserves Bodie would LOVE to meet you. Maggie is a beautiful 3 year old shepherd mix. She is spayed, up to date on shots, good with kids, potty trained, good on a leash (pulls a tiny bit at first, but with a little tug she stops) She absolutely loves going on walks, does well in a car, loves playing tug-o-war, will play fetch with tennis balls and bring the ball back and drop it. She would like to be the only female dog in the home, and can be tested with males to see if she would like one as a buddy.
